Max Verstappen: "I didn't have a great feeling in the car throughout today. I was struggling a lot with the ride of the car, especially over the bumps.

"It made it difficult to be consistent, so it's something we'll look at. We didn't make the improvements we'd have liked from FP1 to Sprint Quali and, of course, we'll have this setup for the Sprint race tomorrow, so there's understanding to be had, which will hopefully allow us to improve ahead of Qualifying."

Isack Hadjar: "I felt strong in the first two phases of qualifying and finally had a good feeling in SQ3, so I'm happy about that final lap, but I didn't get enough time on the Softs during practice so I had poor references. We dealt with some concerns we had in Miami, which is reassuring, but we are still struggling on the balance and losing a lot of time. Even if the grip is there, we cannot use it. It's not a track that suits us so it might be a bit of a tricky weekend."

Pierre Wache: "In practice we tried to learn as much as possible for the rest of the weekend across Qualifying and from the long runs in free practice. We saw a direction to go in, but putting the tyre where want it to be was quite difficult. Sprint Quali didn't go as we had hoped, we had an issue with Max where car performance deteriorated as the session went on, so we need to understand that. I think we had more performance available to us, but we just weren't able to extract it today."
